南沙档案馆项目
Nansha Archive Project

The Nansha Archive (Nansha Archive Information Planning Exhibition Center) is located in the Jiaomen River Central Area of Nansha District, Guangzhou, south of the Government Service Center. It serves as a significant cultural landmark and comprehensive urban exhibition hall in Nansha New Area. The project integrates five functions into one facility: National Comprehensive Archive, Planning Exhibition Hall, Urban Construction Archive, Real Estate Archive, and Local Chronicles Hall, making it a comprehensive urban construction platform combining archive preservation, planning exhibition, academic research, and patriotic education.

With a total construction area of approximately 34,300 square meters, the main building consists of two towers: Tower A serves as the Exhibition Center, and Tower B as the Archive. The architectural design draws inspiration from the Tang Dynasty "Jade Pillow," creating a distinctive and innovative appearance that has become a landmark in Nansha. The total project investment is approximately RMB 350 million, and the facility was substantially completed and put into operation by the end of 2019.

In terms of electromechanical systems, the archive has stringent requirements for insulation, drying, and operational stability of equipment, featuring specialized ventilation and dehumidification systems along with numerous precision devices. The project has fully implemented an electromechanical seismic bracing system, with seismic supports installed on critical components including fire protection pipelines, smoke exhaust ducts, and precision equipment rooms in strict compliance with the Code for Seismic Design of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Buildings (GB 50981-2014). The core function of this system is to scientifically transfer seismic horizontal forces to the main building structure, ensuring that the dense archive storage shelving, constant temperature and humidity equipment, and digital management systems remain stable during earthquakes, effectively preventing secondary disasters such as pipeline detachment and equipment overturning, and safeguarding the security of precious archival materials. The seismic bracing system has become an indispensable safety assurance component of this "five-in-one" cultural landmark.
