
The Lianzhou Regent Garden Phase II Project in Qingyuan City is strategically located in the core residential area of Lianzhou, serving as a key quality residential community in the region. With a total construction area of approximately 150,000 square meters, the project comprises multiple high-rise residential buildings with street-level commercial facilities, offering spacious three-bedroom and four-bedroom layouts designed to provide Lianzhou residents with a comfortable and modern living environment. The project adheres to green building standards throughout, with landscaped gardens and architectural layouts seamlessly integrated to set a new benchmark for residential living in the Lianzhou area.
In terms of electromechanical engineering, the project involves multiple specialized systems including fire protection water supply, ventilation and smoke exhaust, domestic water supply and drainage, power supply, and gas pipelines, with densely distributed utilities and numerous equipment installations. As a high-rise residential building, seismic safety of its electromechanical systems is critically important. Traditional support brackets can only meet vertical load-bearing requirements and cannot effectively resist horizontal forces generated during earthquakes. In the event of an earthquake, risks such as pipeline detachment and equipment overturning would directly threaten the lives and property of residents.
To address this challenge, the project has fully implemented a seismic bracing system for electromechanical equipment. The core function of this system is to scientifically transfer seismic horizontal loads to the main building structure, ensuring that pipelines and equipment remain stable during earthquakes. In strict compliance with the Code for Seismic Design of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Buildings (GB 50981-2014), seismic supports have been installed for fire protection pipelines with diameters of DN65 and above, smoke exhaust ducts, and critical equipment in machinery rooms.
The application of the seismic bracing system establishes a solid safety defense for this project: first, it ensures the normal operation of fire protection and emergency systems after an earthquake, buying crucial time for resident evacuation; second, it effectively prevents secondary disasters such as fire or electric shock caused by falling pipelines; and third, it safeguards the continuous operation of lifeline utilities including water supply, power, and communications. The seismic bracing system has become an indispensable safety assurance component of Regent Garden Phase II, delivering a truly secure and high-quality home for every resident.
